Since 1998, Dorian has dedicated her life to the world of sports injury prevention, athletic & massage therapy, and fitness consulting. While working towards her degree, she became a member of the AAA Minor Hockey Association as a trainer with 2 championships, received her CPAFLA certification, and worked as a first responder at various sporting events all over Winnipeg and Brandon including the Pan Am Games in 1999. After obtaining her degree in Physical Activity and Sport Studies in June 2001, she decided to concentrate on improving her knowledge of orthopedic bracing and worked at a medical supply store fitting custom and off-the-shelf braces for 2 years before gaining the opportunity of management at Performance Healthware in January 2003. Despite her busy work schedule, Dorian is also a dancer with the Romanetz Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and the SLAVA! Ukrainian Contemporary Dancers.
